Dr Carrillo
  • Dr. Carrillo is a Nephrologist who practices in Salinas, Ca. His clinical interests include Acid-Base disturbances, fluid & Electrolytes, general nephrology, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, dialysis, and hypertension.
  • He earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology at USF. He then received his Medical degree at David Geffen School of medicine UCLA in 1982. He then completed his residency training at UCLA Medical center and his fellowship at UC San Diego. He has been in practice for 31 years and he is fluent in English and Spanish.
  • He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Dr. Gopal Krishna has been associated with the practice of Nephrology at Central Coast Nephrology for over 25yrs. After obtaining medical diploma from India he received postdoctoral training in internal Medicine and Nephrology at the New Jersey College of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine and UCLA School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal Medicine and Nephrology. After completion of training he held faculty positions at some the prestigious institutions in the county including UCLA School of Medicine, Temple University School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and UCSF School of Medicine. Over the years Dr Krishna has gained vast experience in clinical research and published his research in some of the most revered peer reviewed medical journals. Dr Krishna serves on medical staff at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, Salinas, CA, Natividad Medical Center, Salinas, CA, Mee Memorial Hospital, King City, CA, Hazel Hawkins Hospital, Hollister, CA and St Louise Hospital, Gilroy, CA. He has pribileges at several dialysis clinics in the area and serves as the medical director at the Davita Soledad Dialysis Clinic. Dr Krishna has a special interest in treating diabetes related kidney disease.

Dr Dicus

Dr.Dicus is a Nephrologist who practices in Salinas CA. His clinical interests include In center and Home Dialysis, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Transportation. 

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at UC Davis, then he received his Medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1997. He finished his residency and fellowship at UC Irvine medical center. He has been in practice for 20 years and he is fluent in English and Spanish.

He is the Medical Director for Davita Pearl Dialysis, Davita Laurel Meadows, and Davita Home Training. Dr. Dicus also sees patient’s at Natividad Specialty Clinic on Fridays.

Dr Phan 2

Dr. Dennis Phan joined Central Coast Nephrology in 2005. Dr Phan is committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients. He attended the University of California, Davis for undergraduate studies and completed his Bachelor of Arts and Science in Economics and Biochemistry. Dr. Phan continued his medical studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree. Subsequently, he returned to California to complete his internship and residency in internal Medicine in Orange County at University of California at Irvine. He then remained at UC Irvine to complete his fellowship training in Nephrology. During his fellowship training, he participated in research studied spearheaded by Dr. N.D. Vaziri and Dr. Madeleine Pahl on investigating lipid disorders in chronic kidney disease and proteinuria and pathogenetic mechanism that results in chronic inflammation and oxidative stress in patients with chronic kidney disease. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He currently holds medical stadd privileges at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, Salinas, CA, Natividad Medical Center, Salinas, CA, Saint Louise Reginal Hospital, Gilroy, CA, Mee Memorial Hospital, King City, CA and Hazel  Hawkins Hospital, CA.

In his free time. Dr. Phan enjoys the outdoor with his wife and their 5 young children.
